park flying 1-2-3D manual
Mr. Scott does a nice job of teaching a maneuver and then building on that maneuver as you progress through the manual. I liked the fact it was spiral bound, making it easy if you have a flight sim to lay the book open in front of you while practicing a maneuver you just learned. Mr. Scott includes how to manipulate the sticks to complete the maneuver that is being instructed. I would not hesitate to recommend Park Flying 1-2-3D to anyone who would like to become a better R/C pilot.

David Scott is an outstanding instructor that has many years of experience and tens of thousands of instruction flights at his school. His books are precise, well illustrated and fun. The main key he teaches is the ability to fly the plane pro-actively and not reacting to the deviation. You will love this book and will learn more from his experience and techniques in a short time versus learning something the wrong way and then practicing it into a bad habit. Learn it right the first time and get more out of your practice!

Dave Scott combines his full scale knowledge with his RC skills, and writes a masterpiece. Why re-invent the wheel when you can build on all his years of instruction.

I would like to say that having read the solo and park flyer manuals and practicing the techniques described therein on a simulator daily has greatly improved my actual model flying . The manuals are the best investments I have ever made. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

The books are great (Park Flying 1-2-3D & One Week to Solo). I flew reacting to the plane, but I am now working to control the plane using instructions from your book. I have made many improvements since I started using your books. I had some limited instructions from experienced pilots in my club but the instructions did not get into many of the areas that your books cover.

The books are brilliant. I wish I had them to start off with as I would have understood with more clarity what I was doing wrong. The books make things very simple to understand and progress at a very steady rate.

Really appreciate the manuals, and the way they have been written. I’m seeing immediate improvements and a heightened level of enjoyment. The methodical way you isolate the critical aspects of where my control inputs need to be with each attempt at a new maneuver is awesome. Your books have helped me identify patterns of bad habits and incorrect inputs that I had been failing to identify while flying.

I just wanted to let you know how excellent and useful your "One Week to Solo" and "Park Flyer 1-2-3D" manuals are. We have some pilots in our club with over 40 years experience. They have expressed, on many occasions, how proficient I am for a new pilot. I give most of the credit to the material found in your manuals. They are simply the best source of information I have come across! Thank you so much!

Dave Scott offers an insightful and methodical teaching approach. The book starts with a great learning-to-fly overview that is also a great refresher on good technique for any level pilot. Next the book dives into aerobatic maneuvers which lay a foundation for gaining confidence and trying more advanced stuff. The bulk of the manual is spent on 3D flying. It offers the best explanations of rates, mixes, and advanced radio programming I have read. It does not just tell you how to do it, but when to use the mixes, when not to, and how they affect the flight characteristics of each maneuver. Detailed graphics and diagrams are included throughout to help explain everything in the text without any guessing. A great source of knowledge!

Got a quick glance at one of your books today and what I saw looked very good.

1st U.S. R/C Flight School manuals are a great way to gain knowledge. Each manual is well detailed and explains each lesson with excellent illustrations. For each lesson, matching stick movements are highlighted so that you can practice before you take to the air. Armed with these manuals, your flight experiences will be more rewarding.

This book is packed with invaluable information that every flyer can benefit from, not just park flyers. If more people started using your books people would be talking about making progress instead of all the talk about crashing.

The information in your park flying book has been a big help to the school kids that I'm teaching on a simulator. The book has been invaluable to me. It has helped me understand all the principles I need to know to fly 3D. Whereas I could not do any 3D maneuvers before, I can now hover and I'm getting better at several high alpha maneuvers.
