primary solo flight training MANUAL

The fundamental Solo techniques that all good flyers use are systematically assembled to enable beginning RC pilots to achieve Solo proficiency in the shortest amount of time. Utilizing the DAS System, bypass common errors and enhance practice effectiveness by focusing on controlling what the airplane does instead of reacting to it. (Consider that when a pilot applies his or her control inputs correctly to begin with, the need for additional corrections is less likely. As a result, there is more time to focus on learning and the next maneuver.) Presented in an crawl-walk-run format, lessons are explained in terms of what to do, how to do it, and why it is done this way to make the lessons easier to remember and incorporate into actual practice. Developed over decades professionally training student pilots how to fly in less than a week, One Week To Solo covers everything a novice RC pilot needs to know to soon start flying with skill and confidence.
  • After reading One Week to Solo I decided to start fresh with the book as my instructor. Even though it has been windy my takeoffs and landings are now much better and I am enjoying a greater sense of accomplishment.
    Dave Coutie. VA
The steps in your book One Week to Solo gave me something solid to go by, and that's when I started to make progress. Now I land on the runway all the time, without your book I might have quit.
    Paul Zimmer. New Richmond, WI
The techniques described in One Week to Solo have been of great help to me. I am now able to land my plane perfectly almost every time and am much more confident of taking my plane to the flying field. Thank you for producing such a wonderfully illustrated excellent manual.
    Dr. Chitter Venkat. Wichita, KS
  • The manual is terrific!!! Very informative and I especially like the detailed and intuitive illustrations. I have been flying for about 6 years and was not progressing the way I felt I should. My flying has progressed leaps and bounds with all that your book has taught me.
    Glenn Kotch. OH
I have found the manual very useful, and helpful. A more experienced flier was amazed by my flying. After describing to him the things I picked up from your manual, it changed the way he now flies. If a person never did anything else when learning to fly R/C but read your manual it would be the best thing they ever did.
    Carl Anderson. Wauseon, OH
One Week to Solo made my initial training much more effective, and helped me get into some good habits and attitudes. There are some fantastic people at our club who all find your books to be a great resource.

  • All I have to say is WOW! What a superb product. I'm highly impressed with the quality as well as the information and how it's presented. This is going to be a GREAT resource in our club training program.
    Mike Valler. New Bedford, MA
One Week for Solo is a masterpiece of writing and drafting for all time. Even experienced pilots will find key details of RC flight that they may have been looking for. There is simply no other source that I have ever seen to match it. I will guarantee it will not disappoint.
    Ben Owen. Oshkosh, WI
I certainly have not found any other learn to fly books (or anything else) that incorporates learning to fly into a step by step system. I now feel prepared to enter my flights with a plan.
    Ray Courtney. Liberal, KS
  • After reading One Week To Solo my future looks brighter than at any time since I started 4 years ago. Out of the thousands of dollars I have invested in this hobby, the few dollars I spent on your book is the best money I ever spent. This manual may literally save the hobby for me.
    Bill Reynolds. Independence, MO
I set up the plane per the way you describe in One Week to Solo and boy it really does make turns easier and shortly after I soloed. I use your methods to teach everyone I help learn to fly. It sure speeds up the learning.
    Emil Santo. www.flyingaeros.com
I’m quite impressed by your One Week To Solo manual. This is going to help our Instructors/Students and me immensely. I will ask the core members of our club to read it before the next training session. I’m pumped!
