It takes knowledge to learn without crashing. The 1st U.S. R/C Flight School manuals are a great way to gain that knowledge. Each manual is well detailed and explains each lesson with excellent illustrations. For each lesson, matching stick movements are highlighted so that you can practice before you take to the air. Armed with these manuals, your flight experiences will be more rewarding.

The steps in your book One Week to Solo really helped my turns and finally gave me something solid to go by, and that's when I started to make progress. Now I land on the runway all the time, without your book I might have quit.

The manuals are terrific!!! They are very informative and I especially like the detailed and intuitive illustrations. There are so many things that I was not aware that make so much sense the way you explain them. I have been flying for about 6 years and just not progressing the way I felt I should have. My flying is progressing leaps and bounds with all that your books have taught me.
Dave believes there are two basic types of flyers. Most club flyers are "Reactors" who watch what the airplane is doing and react to deviations. An important part of being a "Controller" is identifying which corrections need to be made ahead of time. This is the heart of the DAS (David A. Scott) system in his manuals, and used at the flight school.

I have been flying for 15+ years now. I have an older balsa kit built P51 mustang that I always had a tough time getting it off the ground! I just read your book on mastering take offs and had the best morning ever today with my mustang!! Thank you very much!!!
Even though it has been a little windy my takeoffs and landings have been much better than they used to be following your directions in the book. I set out a plan for each flight and I am finding a greater sense of accomplishment (much like the first solo - YES I CAN DO THIS!!!!) when I complete them.
I read your book and it has changed my life!!!, at least my flying life. I am almost 70 years old and been flying for 2 years, started late in life. I had all the bad habits that you mentioned, I read your book, tried it out on my simulator, and then at the field, oh my gosh, what a difference, I actualy came home with my plane in one piece. You have saved my sanity, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! I am trying to get all my friends at my club to read it. Thanks again. Your #1 fan.

I recently ordered a copy of your One Week To Solo Flight Instruction Manual, in order to improve my skills on the RealFlight simulator. I am very happy to inform you that the techniques described in your manual have been of great help to me. So much so, I am now able to land my airplane perfectly almost every time, while previously I had great difficulty in making a proper approach. I am now much more confident of taking my plane to the flying field. Congratulations to you and your team for producing such a wonderfully illustrated and excellent manual. Thanks again for a great manual which is worth every cent.

I’ve really enjoyed the book. One Week to Solo made my initial training much more effective, and helped me get into some good habits and attitudes. In the same way, I am finding Basic Aerobatics to be really useful preparing for the IMAC Basic competition level. There are some fantastic people at our club and they all find your books to be a great resource.

I would like to say that having read the solo and park flyer manuals and practicing the techniques described therein on a simulator daily has greatly improved my actual model flying . The manuals are one of the best investments I have ever made. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I’m quite impressed by your One Week To Solo manual. This is going to help our Instructors/Students and me immensely next year. I’m sold and I want every core member of our club to read it before next training season, plus I seem to be picking up all the orphaned training newbees from last season and I’m going to tell every one of them, “Here Kid, read the book, then we’ll talk”. I’m pumped!

Your One Week To Solo book is the very-very best book I have ever seen!

I got the manuals in the other day. All I have to say is WOW! What a superb product. I'm highly impressed with the quality as well as the information and how it's presented. Amazing job putting this GREAT resource together.

I just received the manual and I am really REALLY happy! This is exactly what I was looking for. It is very concise. Nobody at the club has mentioned any of this important information to me. I look forward to trying these concepts out. Thank you so much!
Dave has used his talents to create the book on RC flying for all time. His book, "One Week for Solo" is a masterpiece of writing and drafting. It is basically a learning to fly text that even the experienced pilot (who finds his skills at the 99% level) will find the key to details of RC flight they have been looking for. There is simply no other source that I have ever seen to match it. I will guarantee it will not disappoint.

Thanks for sending us a copy of One Week To Solo. We have really enjoyed learning what flying R/C is all about. The manual is very easy to understand and has helped us better understand the flying segment of the industry.

I just wanted to let you know how excellent and useful your "One Week to Solo" and "Park Flyer 1-2-3D" manuals are. We have some pilots in our club with over 40 years experience. They have expressed, on many occasions, how proficient I am for a new pilot. I give most of the credit to the material found in your manuals. They are simply the best source of information I have come across!

The books are great (Park Flying 1-2-3D & One Week to Solo). I flew reacting to the plane, but I am now working to control the plane using instructions from your book. I have made many improvements since I started using your books. I had some limited instructions from experienced pilots in my club but the instructions did not get into many of the areas that your books cover.
